The primary goal of the app was to avoid bill shock after traveling. Today's traveler expects to take their phone with them wherever they go. It's their map, phone, recommendations, camera, and lifeline to family and traveling companions. They days of buying a temporary phone were coming to an end.

The customer could use the app to get a sense of the status of their international traveling packages. They could view data, minutes and messages. The trickiest part was how to communicate to users their data status, especially as the relationship of data use to actual MBs consumed is variable. The app also contained the ability for customers to upgrade their plan on fly if they needed it.
