New for 2026The FIND&Drive ROAD SCORE Log book
I was tired of my old “star” rating system, and decided to systematize the scoring a bit more. I realized it would be great to have something to help organize my thoughts: I need a log book! So, I went and designed one, and made it so that I could buy it through Amazon’s KDP storefront. It turned out pretty good. ( I might have bias…)
In the log I have place to write notes and I’ve defined 15 positive and 7 negative road/drive attributes. I’ll add up the scores and come up with a total which I use to calculate a rating, like: 8.7 = Great!
I made it for me, but, it can work for anyone. Maybe you’ll find it useful!
Update June 2026
I finished my first round of driving and realized I need to change a few things up in the log book for the next “edition.”
Use a ballpoint pen! I used a fine rollerball pen but it turns out I’m more a felt tip or ballpoint guy
Revise the number of positive attributes down to 10. I noticed on a couple roads my totals went beyond my 1-10 based score.
I think I need to flip the score and notes or put them together. Something needs to change for sure.
